(Previous name C McGillivray). 8/2/17 Desertion and Fraudulent Enlistment. Enlisted in the 1 King Edwards Horse about 23/3/15 under his correct name. His number was No.1019. Deserted 1 King Edwards Horse in England on 4/1/16. Fraudulently enlisted in the 3 Black Watch under the assumed name of Charles Robert McGillivrey on or about 10/1/16, served with 9 Black Watch, posted to 8 Black Watch on 122/12/16. He was placed under stoppage of pay for all kit lost and all former service was forfeited. Discharged 22/7/19 suffering from dysentery.
