Sentence confirmed by Maj Gen P S Wilkinson GOC, 50 Division. 26/4/18 transferred to P Reserve, Chief Constable Manchester City Police 26/4/18 discharged no longer physically fit for war service, Potts fracture of right leg, playing football. Served Home 4/3/15 to 26/5/15, BEF 27/5/15 to 5/10/17, served with 50 Division, Home 6/10/17 to 26/4/18 to class P reserve. 23/2/16 he married Lillian Bickerton at St Paul's Church, Hulme, Manchester. He returned to the Manchester City Police and obtained the rank of Sergeant, and was awarded the Watch Committee medal for brave conduct with a bar.
