Letter found in his pension record from the Brighton War Pension Committee dated 20/11/18: H G Comber, late No. P/202, L/Cpl, MMP. The above man, who was discharged on the 15/11/17 claims to be entitled to a service pension. He states that he enlisted in the Royal Horse Artillery on the 116/9/85 and was transferred about December 1885 to the Royal Horse Artillery. Discharged December 1892 to the 1st C A Reserve, re enlisted 11/10/97 in section D of the 1st class Army Reserve Royal Horse Artillery and discharged 12/4/02. Re enlisted in February 1903 in the R G Sussex Militia Artillery, discharged August 1907. Re enlisted in the Military Mounted Police on the 4/10/14 and was finally discharged on the 15/11/17.
