Citation for MID: This N.C.O has proved beyond all doubt his ability and efficiency as a Police sergeant - particularly during the period under review when he worked untiring and without thought for self for exceptionally long hours. He is most painstaking and whenever investigations have to be carried out he is the N.C.O. invariably selected to do the job in view of the great personal effort - tact, care and thought - he always put into any undertaking given to him.
