Citation: France. Citation: For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. Hearing that an officer was lying wounded in an exposed place, he went out and dressed his wounds, and eventually brought him back to cover under heavy fire. 29/8/1917. Awarded whilst serving with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, later became MFP.
