On Lord Roberts' Staff.
Sir, The "Express" English lever watch I bought about 12months ago I have had with me throughout the campaign, I have been with Lord Roberts' Staff from Modder River to Pretoria and although the glass has been broken it has kept correct time. I consider it has stood one of the most trying tests a watch could undergo.
