Col. Argylle Henry Gillmore, Provost Marshal at the headquarters of the Northern Army Group, BAOR, collapsed and died yesterday while on leave at Norton Barracks, Worcester, He had earlier sent a telegram to his father, a retired master at Malvern College that he intended to visit him yesterday. Col. Gillmore's wife is in Germany. He commanded the 1st batt. Worcestershire Regiment in Malaya from 1949 to 1951. The Coroner, Mr. T F Higginson has ordered a post mortem examination.
