The wedding took place on Saturday, at Charlton Church, Dover, of Miss Joyce Nellie Libretto,m daughter of Mr and Mrs L Libretto to Mr. Cyril William John Florida, son of Mrs Alice Felicia, Florida. The Rev. E S Besant-Matthews was the officiating clergyman The bride, who was given away by her father, fore a brown panne velvet gown ornamented with gold medallions, a gold girdle, a brown sable fur coat and a small toque hat and veil. The bridesmaids were the Misses Peggy and Violet :Libretto, who wore brown dresses trimmed with red. Mr John McGuinness was the best man. After the ceremony the reception was held at 4 Park Street, Dover (the home of the bride's parents), The honeymoon was spent in London, the bride going away in a gray tweed costume and a fur coat. The motor cars supplied by Messrs Niblett and Son, of Ladywell Place, Dover. Mr and Mrs C W J Florida were the recipients of numerous handsome and useful present, including a grandfather clock from the bride's parents, and a fruit set from Messrs J Dixon, D Hodkin and F Bushell (Surveying Staff, Snowdown Colliery.). |
