Memorial Service for Soldier killed in Cyprus.
A memorial service was held at Christ Church, Forest Hill, on Sunday afternoon for L/Cpl David William Perry, age 18, of the Royal Corps of Military Police, who was accidentally killed in Nicosia on July l8.
Lance Corporal Perry's home was at 20 Pilsethorn, South Road, Forest Hill.
He leaves a widowed mother, his father having die recently.
The fatal accident in which L/cpl Perry was killed occurred when he was hit by a trailer which broke away.
The memorial service was conducted by the Vicar of Christ Church, the Rev. R P Wernham.
