| Citation: | WO 373/15 152 Infantry Brigade, 51st (Highland) Division, III Corps. 4th Camerons, 2931191, Pte. (Signaller) Howard, Harry. On 13th May, 1940, Pte. Howard did magnificent work in maintaining the telephone line to his forward post. On one occasion in particular during the afternoon when the line was again out, he went out under heavy enemy fire at close range. he fearlessly exposed himself and succeeded in mending and maintaining a line of vital value to his post.
