Extract from the Tunbridge Wells Courier, 7/1/38. Marriage of Miss V M Rocca, to Mr Frank R Ongley.
The wedding took place at Leek, Staffordshire, recently of Miss Vera marguerite Rocca, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Rocca, formerly of High Street, Tonbridge and Mr Frank Rowland Ongley, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Frank L Ongley, of Fosse Road, Tonbridge.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white gown and was attended by the Misses Ena Rocca, Margy Ongley and Margaret Marchesi.
The service was conducted by the Rev. Father Carter, and Mr Chell presided at the organ.
A reception followed at Robinson's Cafe, Leek, after which Mr and Mrs Ongley left for their honeymoon abroad.
