Yes, Magilne, Poland, from 9/40 to 5/41, road building. Escapes: Escaped from column between Bapaume and Cambrai at end of May 1940 with two companions, names unknown. Re captured in farm house 3 or 4 days later near Albert, companions also re captured. Have you any other matter of any ind you wish to bring to notice ? I would like to record my appreciation of the work done for the prisoners in Stalag 383 by our man of confidence SQMS Mackenzie. He showed great courage and diplomacy in his dealings with the detaining powers on our behalf.
