Perthshire men reported missing include the following; Sgt David McDougall (26) Corps of Military Police son of Mr J McDougall formerly from Dalshian. Sgt McDougall entered the Postal Service in Pitlochry and was latterly in Abernethy. His wife and young child reside at her parents at Springhill, Pitlochry. Sgt McDougal was called up at the outbreak of war. (article has photograph of Sgt McDougall in uniform) His name is spelt MacDougall in POW British Army 1939-1945 and McDougall in Perthshire Advertiser. |
