Served Home 8/1/1908 to 16/1/1910, India 17/1/1910 to 11/2/1915, Mesopotamia 12/2/1915 to 28/12/1918, Home 29/12/1918 to 7/1/1920. 11/8/1909 he was charged with being drunk and disorderly on the Hastings Road and assaulting two police constables, fined £1-09-00.
6/1/1917 A/Bdr, charged with drunk on duty and striking a native driver, reverted to Gnr, punishment expunged as is illegal vide Field Service Regulations Part II, Sect. 106 (6). 27/12/1917 Baghdad, charge drunk, severe reprimand. No mention of MMP service on Medal Index Card. He claimed a pension for an enlarged heart which was rejected, address: Pipers Lane, Godmanchester, Hunts.
