Found in other documents: Summary of evidence in the case of No. 8/23591, Sgt James Campbell, 3 East Lancashire Regiment. 1st Witness: No. 293 Sgt, G Lee MFP states: At Devonport on the 23 October 1916 about 4.30 pm in consequence of a report received from the Borough Police I proceeded to Ker Street Police Station. I there saw the accused Sgt Campbell 3 East Lancashire Regiment, He was Drunk. The accused was handed over into my custody by the City Police and I had him confined in the North Raglan Guard Room.
