Info from other documents: Summary of Evidence in the trial of No.61182, Cpl, A Tapako, 2 South Staffordshire Regiment. 1st Witness for the prosecution No. 846, Cpl J E Chadburn MMP states: At Lichfield on April 16th 1920, about 22.15 hours, I was on duty in company with L/Cpl Anderson and L/Cpl Corser in Bore Street, Then I saw the accused NCO no w present. He was drunk. I arrested him and conducted him to the Civil Police Station and handed him over to the officer in charge to be detained. Signed J E Chadburn, MMP. The accused declines to cross examine this witness.
