Bdr Sherville has been through the whole period of active service of the Regiment. He has been in every action in charge of his Battery Commanders party. His work has been exemplary and his leadership under fire most noteworthy. His efficiency as a wireless operator has many times saved a critical situation and it was largely through his tireless efforts that the Battalions, with whom he worked, received such effective artillery support.
