War Diary 5 Indian Div Pro Unit, WO 172/9837. 21/3/46 17.00 hrs, 684993 Cpl Roff investigated the five cases of liquor poisoning which occurred on the 20th. He interviewed various personnel of HQ RA and received information that one man could identify the civilian that sold the liquor to IOR' and obtained a bottle of the liquor that was drunk, which was sent to be analysed and found to be deadly poison. 22/3/46. 14.00 hrs. After further investigations 6849993 Cpl Roff arrested two civilians named Matatim an Pai, concerned in the cases of liquor poisoning. The were brought to the Military Police HQ and interrogated by the APM and afterwards handed over to 6 Section AMA police for safe custody. |
