MR F ROBINETT AND MISS M SLACK.
The wedding took place at Ramsey Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Mable Slack, 17 Field Road, Ramsey and Mr Frank Robinett of Peterborough whose father conduct a fruit and vegetable business.
The bride wore a duck egg blue two piece georgette dress, with hat to match and carried a bouquet of red carnations and fern. As bridesmaids Miss Gertie Black (sister of bride) and Miss Ivy Furth (friend) wore plum coloured dresses with blue velvet toques and black veils. The best man wat Mr Don Robinett (brother of the groom). The brides gift to the groom was a writs watch and the bridegroom gave the bridesmaids clasp brooches.
The Rev R A G Binns (curate) officiated and after the service a reception was held at the Parish Rooms. The bridegroom is serving in the Military Police and returned to his unit after a brief honeymoon.
