Served Home 29/9/1914 to 19/7/1915, France 20/7/1915 to 23/11/1918. 24/1/1912 he married Violet May Pope, spinster at Bridgend born 18/8/1892.
He has a War Pension Card, info as above. 27/12/1918 wife received a grant of £7. 2/6/1919 she received a pension of 13/9 per week for herself and 11/8 for 2 children, Albert Edward James, born 2/11/1912 and Ivy May, born 26/6/1914.
