Private gravestone part of which reads: Also Fred Foster Killed in Action, July 1 1916, Aged 27 years (27389 Pte. Fred Foster, 10 Yorkshire Regt named on the Thiepval Memorial). Also of Leonard Foster died Stamford War Hospital, Nov 11th 1918, aged 22 years. He died on the day of the Armistice.
