MANNINGTREE - Chorister Married - The wedding took place at the Methodist Church of Mr Leonard E King, second son of Mr and Mrs F King, of Bradfied and Miss Elsie M Dale, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs H G Dale of Oxford Road, Misley. The service was conducted by the Rev H Jesse Lawrence and Miss J Gowen was at the organ. The bride's gown was of white satin, with veil and halo of orange blossom, and her bouquet was of white, pink and yellow carnations and ferns. Her chief bridesmaid was Miss Myrtle Reason, and another attendant was Miss Evelyn Harvey. These were in rose pink Marocain (Miss Betty Parsons) wore lemon silk and carried bronze chrysanthemums. Amongst the presents was a cut-glass condiment set from the Methodist choir, of which the bride had been a member for over twelve years. |
