CONSTABLE MARRIED - The wedding was solemnised at Romford Baptist Church on Saturday of Miss Lilian Florence Elizabeth North, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs arthu5r north, of 49 Jubilee Avenue, Romford, with Mr. Hugh George Channon, elder son of Mr and Mrs C GT Channon, of 131 Cheam Road, Sutton, Surrey. The bride belongs to an old established Romford family and the bride-groom is a member of the Essex County ~Constabulary, being stationed at Writtle, where he is very popular.
