MILITARY POLICE. To the Editor.
Sir, - One hesitates to chide the writer of your London Notes, but he surely earns a reproof when he stated as he doe state, that "one doe not expect the Corps of Military Police for instance to demonstrate march discipline."
In the two wars I served in several Regular Army Battalions, and in three Corps formations, one of which was the CMP, as it then was named.
In a very humble capacity I had to di with the training of all wings of the CMP, including ATS, and I am of the opinion that their march discipline was no second even to that of the Brigade of Guards.
Yours faithfully,
Eli Carter.
