MILITARY POLICEMAN'S DEATH.
L/Cpl George Norman Ambler (27), of 21 John Street, Greetland died on Saturday following injuries sustained in a motor cycle accident in Norwich. He was serving with the Military Police. He had returned to duty the previous Wednesday after a week's leave. Before the was he was employed by the BDA, Brookfoot. Connected with Lindwell Methodist Church, Greetland, he was s Sunday school secretary. He was married. His parents Mr and Mrs Joe Ambler live in Coronation Street, Greetland.
