| Citation: | BEF. This officer arranged and established, with a small organization of men of the A.M.P.C., the main traffic control post at LANDIVISEAU for the forward advance of the Canadian Division from Brest and the subsequent evacuation. This was no easy task and if it had not been efficiently organized and supervised the main road would have been hopelessly blocked and the evacuation of personnel could not have been carried out successfully. His tactful and untiring effort both with the French civilians and the troops in transit, made a success of this part of the evacuation.Brigadier G Rasch, Commanding Rennes Sub Area. |
