Part I Orders, 206. 4744943 Cpl, Matthews J H ACC, attached to 71 (TC) Coy, CMP, "B" Group a soldier of HM Forces, was tried by Field General Court martial at Doncaster on the 8/7/42, under Sec. 18(4) Army Act, when on active service, stealing public property, in that he at Stainborough Castle on a date between 28/5/42 and 17/6/42, stole on 6lb tin on canned Pork, public property. He was found guilty. Sentence to be reduced to the ranks and to undergo detention for six (6) months.
