OBITUARY. On Monday the funeral of the late Mr H Green, formerly of the Military Mounted Police, too place at the town cemetery. Deceased, who was 43 years of age, was formerly in the 20th Hussars, enlisting in 1886. In 1891 he transferred to the Military Mounted Police and left to pension in 1907. The funeral which was of a semi-military character was attended by Sergeant Majo4r Collins, Military Mounted Police and a detachment of the Military Mounted and Foot Police. A number ow wreaths were sent. Deceased was for some years groom to Major Emerson, late Provost Marshal, and was, until leaving the Army Groom to Major J W M Wood, MVP, Provost Marshal.
