When on active service Drunkenness and 2. Striking a Soldier. Fined £1 and six month imprisonment with hard labour. The sentence of 6 months imprisonment with hard labour was suspended by order of General Sir J H Byng, KCB, Commanding 3 Army, 10/7/17. 28/7/17 Compulsory transfer to the 20 Hussars.
