Citation: | North West Europe. Citation for MBE: Major PASCALL has been APM of this Division throughout the operations in North Western Europe. His organisation of the Traffic Control both under the static conditions in NORMANDY and on the long hunt up to HOLLAND has been quite excellent. He is absolutely tireless in his work and will never rest whilst the Division is on the move. in spite of his sometimes unpleasant duties, he is universally popular and respected throughout the Division. His work at the various assault crossings of rivers which the Division has carried out has been invaluable and has ensured the smooth passage of the vehicles of the Division. This work has necessitated daylight recces of the proposed crossing places whilst they were still in enemy hands, the planning of the various vehicle parks, traffic communications, the guiding of Sector Controls and TP's to the Bridge sites, and finally the continuous supervision of the traffic at the bridges, which naturally become the principal targets for enemy shell and mortar fire.Maj-Gen Comd 53 Div.
