| Citation: | Italy. Citation for MBE:This officer has rendered outstanding work during the past twelve months as Assistant Provost Marshal in the Provost Marshal's Office (AFHQ). He has materially assisted in the construction of a very comprehensive set of provost instructions, used not only by the whole provost service in this theatre but also with the armies now in France. A large part of this work was generated out of the recognised office hours. He has contributed by his great attention to detail to ensure that all ranks in the Military Police have received their maximum share of their entitlements.
