UPSET INK OVER MAJOR'S TROUSERS. For using violence to his company commander and attempting to strike a Lance Corporal, Pte Frederick Joseph Cook (29), of the Corps of Military Police has been sentenced to 56 days detention. An Aldershot Court martial findings and sentence were made known today. Cook appeared at the company commanders office on a minor charge and when told he would be reprimanded he tipped up the table, upset a bottle of ink over the major's trousers and struggled with a Lance Corporal who intervened.
