Worcestershire Regiment. 2613041 George Hayton (247195). He was born in Birkenhead and resided in Denbighshire. Shown as DAPM in CWGC details. He died in an explosion at the Plaza Hotel, Brussels when a booby-trap left by the Germans exploded. A Maj. Wright of the REME was also killed.
