Notes:CMP. 29/3/1932 he enlisted in the Coldstream Guards at Bodmin for 3/9 years, born 29/12/1912 at Cambourne, Cornwall, occupation Farm Labourer, to Army Reserve in 1935 and joined the Cornwall Constabulary, 23/2/1940 Recalled to Coldstream Guards and compulsory transferred to CMP. He served in 101 Pro Coy and 61 Div Pro Coy before becoming RSM of 240 Pro Coy, he landed on Sword beach at H Hour + 1 on 6 June 1944. 16/1/46 he was discharged and returned the the Cornwall Constabulary. He was awarded the Queens Commendation for Brave Conduct in 1957. The RMP Museum hold a photograph album of RSM Pearn's wartime adventures.
