A letter in his docs states he volunteered to rejoin the Royal Artillery and was placed in the Welsh Regiment. and sent to Cardiff Castle, after 1 week no clothing or equipment had been issued and a CSM took them to the gate and told them to clear off. He went home for a few days and then went to the recruiting office and re-enlisted in the Royal Artillery. Served in France. Transferred to MFP 1/10/16. Awarded 35 days field punishment No.1 for drunkenness and returned to the Royal Artillery. Later served in the Labour Corps. No. 380013. No mention of service in the MFP on his medal card.
