Citation: Clasps: Paardeberg, Relief of Kimberley serving with the 2 Norfok Regt. No. 2878, Pte. originally issued with Cape Colony clasp which was returned in exchange for Relief of Kimberley. Also shown on Norfolk Coy. 7 Mounted Infantry WO 100/173, page 196 which states: Clasp "Relief of Kimberley" for the above named officer and men have been authorised for issue on return of the clasp "Cape Colony" already issued. Medal roll A.G.2./Medals/1639. Looks as if Cape Colony Clasp was never exchanged as this is listed on his World War I Army Record. Also on Medal Roll WO 100/173, page 193, dated 29/3/04, Norfolk Coy, 7 Mounted Infantry.
