| Citation: | B.T.A. (British Troops Austria). Beginning of 1950 to Jan 54. Specially employed.Sergeant Pargeter's duties have entailed long hours of hard and dangerous manual labour, and called for a high degree of efficiency. On one occasion his life was endangered and by force of circumstances he was left to find his own way out of the situation. He has at all times displayed great initiative, and throughout the whole period and in the face of many adverse conditions has shown an inspiring cheerfulness and devotion to duty.Col B E L Burton DDMI6 os War Office.
