Citation: | Egypt. May 1951 - July 53. NCO i/c WRAC Provost.Sergeant MANSELL has served in the ATS and WRAC since 1941, and has been in Egypt for the past two and a quarter years, as NCO i/c WRAC Provost. She has performed exceptional service by her outstanding efficiency, and example, not only to those she commands, but to the Corps of Royal Military Police in Egypt as a whole. On several occasions she has taken over the duties of Company Commander in my absence. This has necessitated contact with Senior Officers, and the success with which her efforts have been crowned is due to her tact, common sense and understanding. During the difficult period, after the Abrogation of the Treaty, Sergeant MANSELL was mainly responsible for setting up and working an Information Room at H/Q. B.T.E. manned by WRAC provost. it was a great success owing to the efficiency in which information was collected, collated and distributed. Sergeant MANSELL was largely responsible for this due to her keenness, organising ability and drive. Sergeant MANSELL is quite outstanding and is mainly responsible for the high morale of the WRAC Provost in the Canal Zone, her qualities and her exceptional service should be recognised by the award of the B.E.M.Lt Col APM HQ BTE.
