Citation: Nigeria. Corps of West African Military Police. Citation for BEM: WOII POORE has been in sole charge of the CWAMP Detachment at KADUNA for two years. During this period he has been carrying out the duties of an officer, since the Detachment Commander is shown on Establishment as an officer, but owing to shortage of officers none has been posted. The standard of turn-out, discipline and efficiency of the Detachment have consistenly been of the highest order, owing to WOII POORE's keeness, energy and unremitting devotion to duty. It is strongly recommended that the outstanding manner in which he has carried out the duties of an officer over a long period be recognized by the award of the BEM.Lieut-Col L W G Hamilton OBE Commander North Eastern Sub-District, Kaduna, Northern Nigeria.
