Citation for MBE: This Warrant Officer has been greatly responsible for the standard and smartness of this unit and to its state of discipline due to the nature of the unit he has had very little assistance and has proved himself to be a first class drill instructor and disciplinarian. Despite his youth he has handled NCO's of considerably greater experience, firmly and fairly and as a result has earned their respect and co-operation. He has a very hight sense of duty and has time and again shewn himslelf outstanding as a Warrant Officer. He takes a keen interest in the welfare of the M.O.R. NCO's and has always gone out of his way to guide and help them.
