Citation: | United Kingdom. Northern Command SIB. Citation for BEM: Sergeant Rogers has been employed in SIB, Northern Command since April 1948. During this time his untiring efforts in the detection of serious cases of crime have been most marked. His ability is of the highest order and his techincal and practical approach on the investigation of offences is outstanding. As a Detachment Commander he has continually performed the duties normally assigned on a WOII. As a result of his exeptional qualities which were devoted to many prolonged enquires a large number of offenders have been brought to trial. This NCO's excellent work has undoubtedly enhanced the high reputation of the SIB in both military and civilian circles.Lieut-Col WA Burford DSO DPM Northern Command.
