Presentation to Sheffield Soldier Policeman. In the parade ground at Walkley Police Station, Burgoyne Road on Saturday Chief Inspector Hebb presented Cpl. J W Schofield of the Military Foot Police with a wristlet watch, subscribed for by his colleagues of the Walkley Division. Cpl. Schofield who is returning to his depot in Egypt shortly was a Constable in the division and has been in the Military Foot Police for 18 months. Mr Hebb, Inspector Coggins and Oates and Sgt Steel spoke of the high esteem in which the gallant Corporal was held by his comrades. |
