Citation for US Legion of Merit, Degree of Officer: Lieutenant Colonel Harold P Low, British Army, performed exceptionally meritorious service from June 1944 to July 1945 as Deputy Provost Marshal in charge of Traffic Control for the British 21st Army Group. He was responsible for coordinating the traffic of armies, line of communications and neighbouring American formations, a task he accomplished with an efficiency that maintained an even flow of traffic and contributed in an important degree to the success of operations on the Continent.National Archive WO 373/147.
