Citation: Persia. Citation for BEM: From MARCH 1943 to FEBRUARY 1944 Sgt R W EDE has been in charge of the Military Police Section at SHAH PASS, PERISA. During this time his devotion to duty has been of an exemplary nature and an example to the NCOs serving under him. This devotion has enabled ' Aid to Russia' Traffic to experience the minimum delay. He has at all times personally supervised the PASS, under the worst conditions; ice, snow, which often necessitated being exposed to the severest blizzards for many hours.Capt R R Connal OC 'F' Pro Coy.
