Served Home /5/1912 to 16/7/1915, Gallipoli 17/7/1915 to 25/10/1915, en route 26/10/1915 to 4/11/1915, Home 5/11/1915 to 26/6/1919 to discharge. He suffered from pyrexia (fever). 10/7/1917 at Norwich he was deprived of his L/Cpl tape for being improperly dressed when on cycle patrol about 3am not wearing his armlet. 29/5/1919 shown as awarded £2 on the Prees Heath Demobilization Acquittance Roll.
