Served Home 7/9/1899 to 10/3/1901, India 11/3/1901 to 23/10/1903, Home 24/10/1903 to 6/9/1920 to discharge, address: 515 Katherine Road, Forest Gate. London. 28/2/1909 married Edith May Hooker at Egerton. Awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, Army Order 106 of 1918. Served in Edinburgh, Scottish Command throughout the war. A form in his documents (AFB 117) Report of wounds or other injuries, received otherwise than in action. Wound caused by a bite of a man. On the 18/8/1915 at High Street, Edinburgh on military police duty was bitten by a soldier whilst conveying him to the Police Station. He was not to blame.
