| Citation: | North West Europe. Citation for BEM: During the period under review this NCO has been in command of the Provost Section attached to Main HQ. It was his repsonsibility to mark the Div Centre Line during the advance through France & Belgium into Holland, usually ahead of Div HQ. Sgt Lindridge never failed in this duty the importance of which cannot be exaggerated.
