On December 4 1915 at about 3.30 hrs acting on information received I went with a Frenchman and Rfn. Woodley to a small house in the Boisfontaine Woods near Burbure. In a small barn attached to the house I found the accused. From a description given to us I recognised the accused as a man who was wanted by the authorities. I arrested the accused and handed him over to Cpl. Dennison. MFP. who was in charge of the post at Burbure. National Archive Ref WO 71/445.
