No. 17001, enlisted 17/11/15 age 21 years, occupation labourer. 14/1/1915 discharged and rejoined KSLI, 23/2/1917 transferred to MFP. 12/4/1915 charged with absence at Aldershot, absent from 12 noon to 7.10 pm, awarded 1 days field punishment and loss of 7 days pay. 11/1/1918 Fleetwood being drunk in billet at 2 pm. Reduced to Pte by APM Major N Plummer. He appears to have been discharged and re enlisted in MFP and given new number No. 1546, medically discharged 19/2/1920 with VDH (valvular disease of the heart). Charles Link.
