A very pretty wedding took place at Buckland Church on Easter Tuesday, March 29th, the contacting parties being Mr. Alfred (Jimmy) Last, of the Military Mounted Police, late Royal Horse Artillery, stationed at Newbridge, Ireland, eldest son of Mr. A Last, of Norwich, and Alice, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Albert Groombridge, and Mrs. Mockett, of 15, St. Radigund's Road, Dover. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Turberville Evans, The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Albert A. Groombridge and the best man was her brother, Mr. George Groombridge. |
